367 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded
Today, the Ministry of Public Health announced the registration of 216 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) within the community, and 151 cases among travelers.
The Ministry also announced the recovery of 151 injured people in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the State of Qatar to 245047.
The Ministry of Public Health issued a statement on the developments of the “Covid-19” virus in the State of Qatar, which included the following:
New infections and recoveries
Today, the Ministry of Public Health recorded 216 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) within the community, and 151 cases among travelers.
The Ministry also announced the recovery of 151 injured people in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the State of Qatar to 245047.
Data of the national program for vaccination against (Covid-19)
– 5,172,597 doses of “Covid-19” vaccines have been administered to community members since the start of the vaccination program.
– 9126 doses of “Covid-19” vaccines were administered during the past 24 hours.
– 247,631 doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered to date.
– 86.1% of the total population received a full vaccination with two doses of the vaccine.
The current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic
– Daily new cases of COVID-19 have increased in recent weeks.
– The Omicron mutant has been detected in the State of Qatar, which poses a risk of new cases of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Public Health warned of the danger of the stage in fighting the virus, and stressed the importance of qualified members of society receiving the booster dose without any delay.
