
MoI reported that the officials caught 379 people for violating COVID 19 preventive and precautionary measures in force.
Among them, 318 booked for not wearing masks in public and 57 people for not maintaining a safe physical distance.Â
MoI said that there are four others also for not installing Ehteraz application.
The competent officials referred all of them to the Public Prosecution for violations.Â
MoI cleared that it took actions in line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases.
The authorities continuously call on the public to adhere to the preventive decisions in force to protect them and others from the spread of the virus in society.
