416 people referred to the prosecution for violating Covid 19 precautionary measures
Doha: 416 people were sent to the Prosecution on Wednesday for breaking Covid-19 safety rules (February 16, 2022).
“In line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities referred several people to the Prosecution for violating the Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force,” Ministry said in a statement.
404 persons were reported for failing to wear masks in situations where they are necessary, one for failing to keep a safe physical distance, and 11 for failing to download the Ehteraz app.
All citizens and residents must wear masks in all closed places and in some public places. This is in line with a Cabinet decision on Covid-19 restrictions.
