In the coming week, the detective adventure “Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One” developed by Frogwares will be released for the PC and the new generation of consoles.

In line with the approaching release, the developers at Frogwares have prepared a fresh gameplay trailer for “Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One”, which gives you another look at the title. The focus of the new trailer is on the investigation and also shows you how the younger version of Sherlock Holmes approaches it.

Combat system reflects the skills of the protagonist

According to official information, “Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One” is a classic prequel, the plot of which is set before the story of the main series. You take control of a younger version of the budding master detective Sherlock Holmes, whose skills should be reflected accordingly. Even if “Chapter One” offers a classic fighting system, Sherlock Holmes is not exactly a born fighter and should therefore go to work as inconspicuously as possible.

“Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One” will be released on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. The implementations for the old consoles in the form of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One will follow at a later point in time and have not yet been given a specific release date.

According to the developers at Frogwares, the additional waiting time will amount to “a few weeks” at best.
