Qatar customs caught over 1.5 kg of hashish
Hashish smuggling attempt foiled by Qatar’s Air Cargo and Special Airports Department. In a shipment from an Asian country, the contraband was discovered. Weighing in at 1.69 kilogrammes, the substance was seized.
In recent years, the authorities have repeatedly warned people against bringing in illegal substances. Aside from the latest technology, customs officers are constantly trained to read the body language of passengers and stay abreast of smugglers’ tactics.
