
Doha: The Qatar Olympic Committee congratulated five Qatari runners on finishing the Berlin Marathon, one of the world’s six major marathon races.
Yesterday, September 26, 2021, Salim Al Eidah (3:06:53), Ibrahim Al Obaidli (4:55:50), Mohamed Al Obaidli (5:11:44), Ibrahim Al Mansouri (5:42:13), and Ahmed Al Kuwari (6:04:46) had excellent times in the 42.2km marathon.
The 47th Berlin Marathon took place in 2021, with around 25,000 participants taking part. The current official men’s world marathon record of 2:01:39 was established three years ago at the Berlin Marathon by Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge.
