Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians has COVID-19
Bruce Arians, head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, tested positive for COVID-19 and must be taken away from duty for a few days, the NFL Network reported.
The coach will not be able to direct the Florida team’s practices during the week and will likely not have a chance to direct it in the Week 17 game.
Arians has 8 seasons at the helm of the Buccaneers’ coaching staff.
Harol Goodwin, who is part of the staff of technical assistants who works with Arians, will assume the leadership of the team while the veteran coach recovers.
Tampa is 11-4 with two weeks left in the regular round.
