Call of Duty Vanguard in second place – by a wide margin

It’s hard to get past a “Super Mario” offshoot in Japan. That is why it was only enough for second place for the new release “Call of Duty: Vanguard”. The gap to the top winner is large.

Japan charts: Call of Duty Vanguard at number 2 - by far

the Famitsu presented the weekly hardware and software charts from Japan. And at the top is still the new edition “Mario Party Superstars”, which entered the week before last with over 163,000 sales. With around 80,000 units sold in the past week, it is still enough for first place.

“Call of Duty: Vanguard”, probably the most famous release in the first week of November, was able to claim second place. This is the PS4 version, while the New Gen version comes in fifth.

Apart from that, we see the usual representatives like “Ring Fit Adventure”, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”. The Switch version of “Project Zero: Priestess of Black Water” from October is in tenth place and has slipped four places down. The PS4 version can no longer be seen.

When it comes to console sales, everything stays the same: The popular Nintendo Switch is at the very front by far, while the PS5 follows behind. Then come the Xbox Series X / S and the PS4.
