
The Cleveland Cavaliers are close to acquiring veteran point guard Rajon Rondo, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported.
The Cavaliers and Lakers are expected to close the deal this Friday, with which Cleveland would be able to sign a point guard to make up for the absence of Spaniard Ricky Rubio, who will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

Rajon Rondo has made 18 appearances off the bench for the Lakers this season. He has averages of 3.1 points and 3.7 assists in 16.1 minutes per commitment.
Cleveland has been one of the revelation teams in the NBA with a record of 20 wins and 14 losses.
