Cleveland Browns could look for Aaron Rodgers next season

The Cleveland Browns could look to keep star quarterback Aaron Rodgers next NFL season, The Akron Beacon Journals’ Marla Ridenour reported.
Mayfield’s performance of four interceptions against Green Bay at Christmas apparently got the organization’s top brass thinking again about giving him a contract extension, which could lead them to explore the market.
Win over Browns put it in clear focus: If #Packers are stupid enough to let Aaron Rodgers get out of Green Bay after this season or next, they will be sentenced to many years of Baker Mayfield-level quarterbacking.

Rodgers ‘future with Green Bay has been a matter of discussion since before the start of the season, but things appear to be calm thanks to the Packers’ spectacular 12-win performance. Of course, if they win the title, the dream of the Browns and other teams to add the MVP candidate could fade.
