Los Angeles Clippers coach Tyronn Lue was placed in the NBA’s COVID-19 protocol, being removed from the team, which already suffers from the absences of Paul George and Ivica Zubac.
The Clippers are sixth in the Western Conference at 18-17, winning 5 of their last 10 games.
In the absence of Lue, Brian Shaw will guide the roster of the Clippers, who will face the Toronto Raptors on December 31, 2021.
In turn, the Clippers will face the fearsome Brooklyn Nets this Saturday without several of their figures.
