Colombian Police Captain Juan Pablo Mosquera, who worked in conjunction with agents of the United States Anti-Drug Agency (DEA), pleaded guilty to two counts of obstruction of justice in a South Florida court on Wednesday. .

Mosquera accepted the guilt of both charges and will be sentenced on January 4, 2022, as established by Judge Robert N. Scola, according to the court documents to which Efe had access.

Mosquera, 37, was arrested in 2018 in Colombia and extradited to the United States on charges of selling information to favor drug traffickers.
