Cristiano Ronaldo awarded as the best scorer of all time

Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded as the best scorer of all time at the Globe Soccer Awards, awards given by the Association of European Clubs. The Portuguese striker was one of the great honorees of the evening.

Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé were also awarded on the day. The Polish striker was considered with the Maradona award for the best scorer of the year while the Frenchman was chosen as the best footballer of 2021.

It was the 12th edition of these awards, in which the fans have the final decision, since it is they in the first instance who choose the five finalists in each category.
