Customs in Qatar foils attempt to smuggle hashish into the country
Doha: An attempt to smuggle hashish into Qatar got foiled by the timely work of the Maritime Customs Department at Al Ruwais.

The seized hashish weighed a total of 1 kilogram. The authorities found the substance hidden in a secret way near the truck chassis. The Customs Department has shared photos of the seized substance and some from the scene.
Despite the continuous attempts to smuggle banned substances to Qatar, the authorities have managed to stay abreast and bring the crimes to justice. Aside from the latest technology, the officials are trained to read the body language of the passengers.
