Both players were preparing to return to team work after the Christmas break. The right-back and the central defender will be isolated in their homes and will be out for the match against Mallorca on January 2, when the League resumes.
Sergi Roberto had been another of the positive cases in the Blaugrana entity. Now, with these two more cases, the team led by Xavi will be affected to start the year against the Balearic team.
