Designated authorities refer 354 people to the prosecution for violating Covid-19 precautionary measures
Doha: On Wednesday, the designated authorities reported 354 people to prosecution for violating the Covid-19 preventive measure (January 19, 2022).
286 of the reported people did not wear masks, 65 did not keep a safe physical distance, and 3 did not install the Ehteraz app.
The regulations are in keeping with the Cabinet’s decision on Covid-19 limitations, which mandates that all citizens and residents wear masks in public.
“In line with the cabinet decision based on Law No. 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases, the competent authorities referred several people to the Prosecution for violating Covid-19 preventive and precautionary measures in force,” Ministry said in a statement.
