Doha: The Red Bull Car Park Drift is back in Qatar after 3 years of wait. The event will take place at the Southern Parking Lot in Katara Cultural Village on October 1, 2021. The event will start exactly at 6 PM. Â
The event will be under the supervision of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF). The official TV broadcast partner is beIN SPORTS, the exclusive online media partner is I Love Qatar, and the production partner of the event is ProTV. The much-anticipated event will be broadcasted live in beIN Sports Arabic & English Channel. The event will also be live-streamed on the Facebook page of Redbull’s.
The event takes place under the supervision of the legendary Abdo Feghali, who will also put off a drifting show in the BMW M2 Hero Car. It is expected that a total of 25 drifters will participate in the event. The scores will be judged based on the drifter’s skill level, expertise, precision, and creative approach. The winners of the event will be crowned as Qatar’s 2021 King of Drift and they also will get the opportunity to represent Qatar at the World Final set to be held on November 5th, 2021 in Egypt.Â
