Doha: For the Amir Cup 2021, a road closure will be implemented in the Al Thumama area. Alternate arrangements will be established for the road users, according to the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
This was announced in a press release which also stated that the roads near the stadium will be closed twice. From 2 a.m. on October 15 until 2 a.m. on October 16, the first closure will take place.
From 4 p.m. on October 20 until 11:59 p.m. on October 22, the second closure will take place. On October 22, the sixth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament venue will be inaugurated when Al Thumama Stadium hosts the Amir Cup Final.
The inauguration of the Al Thumama Stadium will take place on October 22. The Amir Cup final will be the inaugural match of the sixth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament venue. Al Rayyan SC will face Al Sadd SC in the most anticipated match of Qatar’s premier cup competition.
