Umm Salal ‘s General Monitoring Section removed 116 abandoned vehicles

During a recent campaign, Umm Salal Municipality’s General Monitoring Section removed 116 abandoned vehicles from various locations throughout the municipality.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), municipal inspectors placed stickers on 293 abandoned vehicles, which are being removed in accordance with the legal process.

As part of this campaign, MME, the Committee for Removing Abandoned Vehicles, the Mechanical Division, and the General Cleanliness Division worked with the Ministry of Interior’s security agencies to remove abandoned vehicles from the streets.

Due to the public hygiene law No. 18 of 2017, Umm Salal Municipality has asked people in the area to report any complaints through hotline No.184 to help implement it. The campaign will continue until all abandoned vehicles in the area have been removed.
