HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser met the UN High Commissioner for Refugees
Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees met with HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All and Qatar Foundation on Sunday.
Their conversation focused on Education Above All and UNHCR’s new, continuing effort to educate 364,000 displaced children across 14 countries.
As a result of this agreement, EAA and UNHCR will have enrolled more than 1.5 million out-of-school displaced children globally. The Qatar Foundation’s initiatives to assist Afghan evacuees were also highlighted during the discussion. Qatar Foundation Vice-President and CEO Sheikha Bint Hamad Al Thani attended the meeting.
