HMC appoints Nayef Al Shammari as the Executive Director of Media Relations
It has been announced that Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has appointed Nayef Al Shammari to the position of Executive Director of Media Relations.
At HMC, he was previously the Assistant Executive Director for Media Relations. Having graduated from Qatar University’s Mass Media Department in 2005, Al Shammari has been involved in media work in the health sector ever since. Additionally, Al Shammari’s credentials include prestigious certificates in management and development, in addition to specialised training in journalism and media.

He began his career as a health journalist before being appointed Director of Media Relations at HMC in 2015, and then Assistant Executive Director for Media Affairs in 2017. As a member of the Ministry of Public Health’s Health Care Liaison Committee, Al Shammari played a prominent role in media and communications during the COVID-19 pandemic.
