How to turn off location history on Facebook

To delete your place history for a specific day or the entirety, follow these steps:

  • Click on the three lines at the top right of the screen.
  • From the menu that appears, tap Settings and Privacy, then tap Privacy Shortcuts.
  • Click on the Manage your site settings option, then click on the site history option.
  • Select the View location history option and then enter the account password if prompted.
  • On the next screen, click on the three dots on the top left.
  • Choose Delete this day or Delete all location history, then press OK.
