More countries including India can apply for family visit visa to Qatar
People from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can also apply for family visit visa in Qatar as Metrash2 (service provider of MoI) accepts more countries in its list.
The list also includes Philippines and Nepal, who needed compulsory hotel quarantine earlier.
Earlier Metrash2‘s family visit visa programme stopped its service as a part of travel restrictions when the pandemic COVID-19 started. Later it restarted but many countries like India and Pakistan were excluded from it.
Now, even the residents from these countries could apply by fill in the details and submit relevant papers on Metrash2.
As per the new travel policy, people with family visit visa can travel to Qatar, provided that they are fully vaccinated by a MoPH approved vaccine and exempted from quarantine requirements.
