Recently, Bandai Namco Entertainment and the developers of From Software not only admitted that the fantasy role-playing game “Elden Ring” needed a little more time and therefore a few weeks was moved.

At the same time it was announced that selected players will have the opportunity to take a first look at the new work of the “Dark Souls” makers and its multiplayer components as part of a closed network test. As “PlayStation Size” reports, the network test of “Elden Ring” on the PlayStation 5 will be pleasantly small and only occupy 6.888 gigabytes. Possible updates could increase the memory hunger of the network test after the start.

The network test will take place next week

The closed network test of “Elden Ring” will take place from November 12th to 15th, 2021 and should be used to track down possible errors and problems so that they can be resolved by the final release of the role-playing game. The new release date was announced as part of the official postponement of February 25, 2022, with “Elden Ring” being released for the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5.

On the new generation of consoles, “Elden Ring” supports a free next-gen upgrade and enables you to upgrade to the corresponding next-gen version for free after purchasing the PS4 or Xbox One version.
