iPhone 13 cameras outperform iPhone 12 Pro

It used to be that the new generation of iPhone phones outperformed the previous generation in terms of imaging capabilities. However, the comparison is usually between the regular version and the Pro version. Not between the Pro and regular versions.

and according to for tests DOOMark, the regular iPhone 13 achieves 138 points in imaging performance for still images, and thus outperforms the iPhone 12 Pro by only one point. But in terms of video shooting, the phone has scored 117 points.

On the other hand, the phone has achieved 117 points in the performance of video shooting, and 55 points in the performance of the zoom, and thus it is significantly superior to the iPhone 12 Pro phones.

iPhone 13 beats iPhone 12 Pro

The difference is due to the aforementioned Sensor-Shift technology. But this technology was already available in the previous generation, but exclusively for the iPhone 12 Pro Max versions.

The main sensor in the iPhone 13 camera comes with a 12-megapixel camera, which is the same sensor that was present in the iPhone 12 Pro Max in general. This is in addition to the sensor with a wide shooting angle.

Interestingly, the iPhone 13 mini has the same cameras as the regular iPhone 13 version. Which means that the iPhone 13 mini outperforms the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Which is peculiar to Apple and its development strategies.

The phone has achieved a good performance in terms of zoom, although it does not come with a zoom camera – that is, a separate telephoto – as is the case in the Pro versions, whether from the current generation or the previous generation.

It is also reported that a large number of users do not trust DXOMark tests in general. On the other hand, iPhones in general come in a relatively late position in the list of the best smartphone cameras on the platform.
