Kyle Pitts is the fourth tight end with 60 receptions in his rookie year in the NFL.

Kyle Pitts reached an important mark for a rookie tight end in the NFL by reaching 60 receptions in the Week 16 game between the Falcons and the Lions.

The top pick of Georgia’s squad in the 2021 draft reached Keith Jackson, Jeremy Schokey and Evan Egram with this mark, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Jackson made the record in 1988, Schokey in 2002, and Engram in 2017.

While not the rookie record for his league position, the mark Pitts tied shows the Falcons were right to use their highest pick on him in the recent college recruiting process.
