Learn about the iOS 15.1 update from Apple

Apple launched iOS 15 about a month ago alongside its new iPhone 13 phones, and although it announced a bunch of new features coming into the system, it has postponed a large part of these features.

SharePlay is one of the biggest features that has been delayed, and is supposed to be released in the upcoming iOS 15.1 update.

iOS 15.1 comes as the first major update to iOS 15 rather than small updates aimed at fixing minor issues.

Apple has not yet announced a final or official date for the release of the next update, but we know that it has entered the beta phase with developers.

So we should see it soon within this month, and Apple may release it along with the Monterey update for Mac devices.

The system includes the SharePlay feature that Apple has delayed a bit, and this feature allows users to share content via Facetime.

The update also allows iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max users to use the ProRes format for professional video capture.

After the update, you can add your vaccination card to Apple Wallet and use it as an official document.

It comes with a set of fixes for minor problems that appeared in the system in addition to improving battery life and performance as usual.

SharePlay allows you to share the content you watch along with your co-workers and friends.

Through the use of Facetime, you can share content, whether visual or audio, through all the official Apple applications.

It is assumed that support extends to a group of external applications for broadcasting content, such as Netflix and other platforms.

Apple has decided to direct the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max phones towards professional videographers, so the phones support for the ProRes format is a distinctive and very useful step.

The ProRes format allows videographers to modify and control many aspects of the clip they are recording.

As if it was taken with a professional camera in the first place and not just a phone, Apple has focused its publicity on the phone’s video-recording capabilities.
