Liga MX teams will not stop despite the increase in COVID-19 cases
Liga MX teams are willing to start the Clausura 2022 tournament in January despite the increase in COVID-19 cases in Mexico, ESPN reported.
The appearance of the omicron variant and its subsequent arrival in the Mexican nation has caused an increase in infections. However, the league does not intend to stop for this reason.
One reason, according to information published on ESPN, is that the tournament is barely recovering from the economic losses stemming from the pandemic.
What they will be very attentive to in the MX League is to follow the government’s recommendations on the capacity that will be allowed in the stadiums.
