Indiana Pacers players Malcolm Brogdon, Isaiah Jackson and Chris Duarte entered the team’s COVID-19 protocol and will be out for several days, ESPN reported.
The NBA Eastern Conference squad has not yet made the athletes’ departure official. It is not ruled out that there are more casualties for this reason.
The Pacers have a game this Friday, December 31, against the Chicago Bulls.
Brogdon and Duarte are two of the Pacers’ regular starters so their outings will be felt by the team’s system.
Indiana ranks 13th in its conference at 14-21 before playing the game on Dec. 30.
