Moderna revelas the results of its experiments against the Delta mutation
Moderna revealed the vaccine’s duration of protection against Covid-19. they stated that the vaccines have remained strong against the Cpovid-19 for at least six months. the anti-mutagenic booster doses has also performed very well against the new delta mutation of the coronavirus.
In a recent article about the efficacy of the vaccines produced by the American company, Euronews quoted that the vaccines showed 93% of efficacy in the final third and fourth analysis of the vaccine. it should be noted that this is over the period of six months after the second dose of the vaccine.
The company is also conducting clinical trials of three different anti-Covid-19 boosters that all produce high levels of antibodies against the original coronavirus strain and mutants of concern including Delta, which was initially discovered in India.
“We are pleased that our COVID-19 vaccine shows a sustained efficacy of 93% over six months, but we recognize that the delta mutant represents a significant new threat, so we must remain vigilant,” CEO Stephane Bancel said in a statement.

The statement added that Moderna expects to submit its application for full approval of its vaccine from the US Food and Drug Administration this month.
The company has also started studies on many other vaccines, including against influenza, Zika, the respiratory syncytial virus that particularly affects children, and others, and is working on developing an anti-Covid vaccine that can be stored at normal refrigerator temperature.
