MOI and Qatar University sign an electronic connectivity cooperation agreement
Doha: As part of a cooperation agreement signed between Qatar University (QU) and the Ministry of Interior, the two institutions will work together to organize the communication process electronically and exchange data in order to raise the level of services provided to the public while facilitating and accelerating procedures.
Professor Eiman Mustafawi, Vice President for Student Affairs at Qatar University, and Major General Saleh Khamis Ghanim Al Kubaisi, Director of Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Interior, signed the agreement.
Qatar University provides the Ministry of Interior with the personal data of individuals and applicants under this agreement, which is designed to integrate the work between the two parties in the fields of electronic connectivity and information exchange. Both parties must abide by the operational rules and controls when operating the electronic inquiry service and when operating the electronic data update service, as provided for in the agreement.
