
Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed that the authorities referred 166 people to the prosecution for violating the COVID-19 preventive and precautionary measures in place.
Among them, 162 people were not wearing masks in public places.
4 people are sent to public prosecution for not complying with the safe distance requirement.
MoI said that the measures are in line with the Cabinet decision No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases.
MoI with health workers have been continuously asking the public to adhere to the prevention requirements to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
