Mutah University and Doha Institute for Graduate Studies sign an MoU
Doha: Jordanian University of Mutah and Doha Institute for Graduate Studies signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, January 19, 2021, to enhance cooperation in scientific research and other areas of mutual interest. Faculty members and students at both institutions will be able to exchange knowledge and experience through this MoU.
Doha Institute for Graduate Studies President, Dr Abdul-Wahab Al-Affandi, signed the MoU on behalf of DI, while Mutah University president, Dr Arafat Atwi Awajan, signed it on behalf of Mutah University. The MoU paves the way for a series of activities valuable to both universities.
In addition to collaborative research and studies and contributions to academic and scientific publications, visiting faculty exchanges are taking place as well as conducting research, holding seminars, workshops, and conferences on topics of common interest, as well as exchanging scientific papers and academic theses based on the policies of each institution.
In addition to other provisions, the MoU also included provisions for cooperation in the field of scholarships, training courses, encouraging student delegations’ visits and exchanges, as well as providing faculty members with opportunities to submit research for publication in refereed scientific journals at both universities.
