Ooredoo Group and Ericsson signed a five-year partnership deal

Doha: Ericsson has been selected by Ooredoo Group as its next-generation digital transformation partner for its Business Support System solutions.

A five-year group frame agreement has been signed by both parties. This will result in the deployment of the new Ericsson BSS solutions in Ooredoo Group’s several operating companies. Now Ooredoo will be able to serve any type of customer or partner, network technology or chargeable event with the latest Ericsson BSS solutions.

The agreement will help both entities to enhance their flexibility and operational facilities. One of the most important target solutions of the Ooredoo Group will be Ericsson’s Digital Monetisation Platform (DMP) – a platform that converges all business models, networks (including 5G) and customer types into one scalable monetization solution.

With support for end-to-end converged solutions, the Ericsson DMP is capable of providing Ooredoo with more cost-effective operations, management, and deployment, and will act as a catalyst for innovation and Ooredoo’s digital transformation.
