Packers activate star cornerback Jaire Alexander
The Green Bay Packers activated cornerback Jaire Alexander on Wednesday to begin his tune-up and soon stipulate his return to action date, head coach Matt LaFleur reported.
The organization still doesn’t know if Alexander will be available for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, as he has been inactive since Week 4 with a shoulder injury.
The defender will give the Packers more status to his secondary heading into the playoffs, which comes from adding 4 interceptions against the Cleveland Browns.
The cornerback has 62 tackles, 15 blocked passes and two interceptions in 16 NFL career games.
