Paris Saint-Germain will play in Doha for the first time since 2019 in the Qatar Winter Tour, which runs from January 16 to 20, 2022. All of PSG’s first-team players will arrive in Qatar after their Ligue 1 match against Brest.
PSG will feature Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe as well as other top players. Before returning to France, the delegation will play a friendly match in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh. French champions Paris Saint-Germain will face a team made up of players from the best Saudi clubs Al Hilal and Al Nassr FC. The team will train in the Aspire Zone in Doha, where they will have access to first-rate training facilities and enjoy Doha’s mild winter climate.
During the Qatar Winter Tour, the team will get a chance to see what has changed in the country since their last trip and to promote Qatar as a tourist destination. This tour will provide the team with a chance to meet local supporters and take part in activations with their partners.
Some of the brand-new World Cup 2022 facilities will be used for the events. The Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Doha, which operates year-round on the Qatar Foundation pitches, will also be visited by players. The 2014 and 2015 Qatar Handball Tour, the 2015 Qatar Ladies Tour, and 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Qatar Tour have all taken place in Qatar as they welcomed PSG.
As part of the agreement, Qatar Tourism provides millions of football fans the chance to experience all that Qatar has to offer, including its culture and hospitality. PSG has evolved into one of the world’s top football clubs and worldwide sports brands since QSI acquired the club in 2011. Since then, the team has won 25 titles within nine years, and 43 in its whole existence, making it France’s most successful football club.
