Primary Health Care Corporation launches the ‘Back to Normal Plan’

Doha: A three-phased implementation strategy between February and April 2022 has been established in line with the gradual easing of Covid-19 limitations across the country. The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has launched a ‘Back to Normal Plan’ with Phase 1 starting on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.

All Primary Health Care Corporation Health Centers will provide 50% face-to-face consultations across all services, including the Family Medicine Model (FMM), Dental General, Dental Specialty, and all Specialty treatments, as part of the plan.

Virtual consultations will also be available if requested by patients. Until further notice, Rawdat Al Khail Health Centres will continue to function as a COVID-19 designated Health Center, and PHCC Health Centers will provide Drive-Through swabbing services.

The Community Call Center will also provide emergency consultations, as will SMART clinics and dental treatments, which will be offered at a 50 per cent discount.

“Primary Health Care Corporation committed to offering patients access to routine and essential medical services during the various phases of the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring the health and safety of our community. To support national efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and protect Qatar’s population, our facilities and services are equipped with stringent safety and preventive measures”.

To restrict the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect public safety, PHCC has implemented stringent preventative measures. Smart appointment scheduling, the use of personal protective equipment, social distance, regular viral testing for personnel, and tight cleanliness and disinfection practices are among these approaches.
