Qatar attended the meeting of GCC heads of audit and accounting

Doha: Yesterday, via videoconferencing, the State of Qatar participated in the 18th meeting of Their Excellencies heads of GCC Audit and Accounting Bureaus. H E Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al Thani, the President of the State Audit Bureau represented the State of Qatar.

It was also discussed the draft quality assurance procedures for the issuance of the oversight rules list by the work team for the Supreme Audit Institutions in the Arab Gulf countries and the general framework for the GCC oversight guides. In addition, the Secretariat’s memos on the 2021-2022 training plan were discussed, and decisions and recommendations were made accordingly.
