
During the GCC Aquatic Championships, the Qatari national swimming team won eight bronze medals, 21 silvers, and 33 gold. In the 28th GCC Aquatic Championships, Qatar’s national swimming team won 62 medals.
There were a total of 33 gold medals won in addition to 21 silver and eight bronze. The team also took home the title of the best player in all categories. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, stated in a tweet on Sunday, “We congratulate all the winners and congratulate the champions of support for taking the lead in the medal standings,”

At the Hamad Aquatics Centre in Qatar, the tournament was organised by the Qatar Swimming Association and featured six GCC countries. In the 200m freestyle, Mohammed Mahmoud won gold, Abdulaziz Al Obaidli won silver, Feras Saidi won silver, and the Qatari relay team won bronze in the 200m freestyle race four.
