Doha: Qatar strongly denied and condemned an explosion in the city of Kunduz in the northeast of Afghanistan. The explosion was targeted at a mosque in Kunduz and led to several deaths and injuries.
In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Qatar’s firm position against violence and terrorism. Qatar also denied targeting places of worship and terrorizing civilians in its statement.
The Ministry expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Afghanistan were also expressed and wished the injured a quick recovery.
