Qatar’s four-way canopy formation team won the gold medal in the 24th FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving on Wednesday. The team included Hassan Al Malki, Abdullah Hani, Ali Al-Marri, Saeed Al Kuwari, and Saleh Al Kuwari.
The 24th Fédération Aéronautique Internationale – World Air Sports Federation is in Tanay, Russia. The silver medal went to the Russian team, while the bronze went to the Belarusian team. A second-place finish by the Qatar ‘A’ team in the Two-way Sequential Canopy Formation competition earned Qatar a silver medal.
