Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a notch

This year, Samsung plans to launch three high-end tablets. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+, the South Korean tech giant is preparing the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Last year, the company announced its flagship Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets. But Samsung’s flagship tablet is rumored to be bigger than the Galaxy Tab S7+ continued to appear.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, as the name suggests, is the top-of-the-line model with all the best features.

Well-known technical whistleblower, Steve Hammerstoffer – an account holder OnLeaks Via Twitter – First look at the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra via a set of computer modeled images.

The images show that the upcoming tablet includes a small bump that is inappropriate to include any technology similar to Face ID. But it is there to make some room for the front camera.

The bezels around the screen are very thin. So a bump was apparently necessary to house the selfie camera.

Hammerstoffer explains that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a 14.6-inch screen. The Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ offer 11-inch and 12.4-inch screens, respectively.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra includes two rear cameras and a magnetic strip for the S Pen. The 360-degree photos reveal quad speakers and a Type-C port. But there is no headphone jack.

Samsung launches three advanced tablets this year

Obviously, the design of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is not yet fully finished, which explains the lack of magnetic connectors on the left side of the frame, among other things.

But that’s pretty much what Samsung’s upcoming high-end tablet looks like. Its dimensions are approximately 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 millimeters. This makes it taller and thinner than the Galaxy Tab S7+.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is likely to be the only tablet out of the three that features a notch.

The Galaxy Tab S8 series was expected to be launched at the Unpacked Part 2 event earlier this week. But this did not happen.

The tablets could arrive in November or December unless a global chip shortage forces Samsung to delay the launch until 2022.
