Santi Cazorla of Al Sadd speaks about their aim
Santi Cazorla spoke about his experience with Al Sadd so far. He commented that the team is preparing well for the 2021-2022 season and their aim is to repeat the previous season in which they won the title.
“We are working well in the training camp and doing our best,” Santi Cazorla said in a statement to the club’s website.
Regarding the team’s ambitions in the new season, the Spanish professional said: The team’s goal is to repeat the achievement of last season when we won everything, it will be difficult because there are very good teams in the league, but this is our goal and we will try to win everything again.

Regarding the absence of international players from the camp and the inclusion of many young players, Cazorla pointed out this is very important for the club, with the presence of many young players to develop and gain experience, and said: This is a good thing for us that we have young players with us and this is very important for the club, it’s true that it is tough because we don’t have all the players with us in the camp but that’s the part of football.
He added, “We have to prepare well with the players we have here and wait for the return of the international players to complete the team’s contract for the beginning of the season with full force.”
Santi noted that he was delighted to win the Player of the Year award in the Star League last season, and added, “I am very happy to win the award for the best player in the league.
He concluded his speech: “As I have always said, the important thing for me is to help the team win everything, we work as one family to continue to win victories and win titles.”
