Shohei Ohtani won the AP agency Male Athlete of the Year award

Los Angeles Angels player Shohei Ohtani was the winner of the Male Athlete of the Year award from the AP news agency.
This recognition comes from one of the most important and oldest news agencies in the world.
Ohtani also won the MLB American League MVP award in 2021. He had a .257 / .372 / .592 offensive line with 46 home runs as a hitter and a 3.18 ERA with 130.1 innings pitched.
