
Becky Hammon, the first woman to be a full-time assistant coach in the NBA, will leave her position with the San Antonio Spurs because she will coach in the WNBA, ESPN reported.
Hammon spent eight seasons on the coaching staff of head coach Gregg Popovich and was a candidate to take over the club. However, Las Vegas Aces’ proposal to coach came to him and he decided to change league.
