Jaime Echenique is one step away from being the first Colombian player in the NBA. The Washington Wizards are about to sign the South American to a 10-day contract, according to various reports.
Echenique belongs to the Washington club in the G League, Capital City Go-Go, and would be about to reach the Eastern Conference team due to casualties due to COVID-19 infections.
When he debuts, Echenique will be making basketball history in his country.
