Hamad Medical Corporation is in desperate need of blood donors

Doha: Qatar Blood Service is urgently seeking O+ and O- blood donors for Hamad Medical Corporation – Blood Donor Center. “Qatar Blood Services urgently requires blood donors from the RH groups O-,O+,” Hamad Medical Corporation tweeted.

It also noted donation centres meet the highest levels of safety and infection control to protect personnel and donors.

From Sunday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., people can donate blood at the Blood Donor Center (next to Hamad General Hospitality).

Blood donation is a highly safe operation with very few side effects, and even when they do occur, they are usually minor and pose no risk to the donor.

To guarantee that the donation process is safe, potential donors are rigorously examined for appropriateness before being allowed to contribute, and the method is free of risks to the donors.
