This week Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software introduced the Collector’s Edition for the upcoming role-playing game “Elden Ring”. The official description of the collector’s edition shows that the fantasy adventure is being given two display modes on the PS5.

On the one hand, there is a graphics mode on board, in which the focus is on a high resolution. According to the description, this is “up to 4K”. In addition, we can probably assume that various technical or graphical advantages and improvements are waiting for you in the graphics mode.

Number two in the league is the frame rate mode, in which “Elden Ring” is displayed with up to 60 frames per second. However, it remains to be seen whether a stable 60FPS is offered here. From Software and Bandai Namco Entertainment have so far not officially commented on the two display modes.

“Elden Ring” will be released on February 25, 2022 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. As a free next-gen upgrade is supported, you have the option of upgrading your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version to the respective next-gen version for free at a later date.
