The Doha Metro will run at 75% capacity from January 29 onwards

Doha: Metro and public transportation services will continue to operate at 75 per cent capacity, according to the latest cabinet decision announced yesterday.

Qatar Rail then declared on Twitter that starting Saturday, January 29, Doha Metro, Lusail tram, metrolink, and metroexpress will operate at 75% capacity.

“In view of the updated COVID-19 measures starting 29 Jan 2022, Doha Metro, Lusal tram, metrolink and metroexpress will operate at 75% capacity,” it said in a tweet.

The recently announced Covid-19 preventive measures also include the closing of designated smoking areas. Food and drinks are not permitted in metro and public transport.
