PUBG: New State Coming to Phones November 11

announced Krafton announced that the free mobile game PUBG: New State is coming to iOS and Android on November 11.

Set in the year 2051, the game offers a futuristic look at the multiplayer-focused mode of PUBG with new features such as customizing weapons and in-game drones.

The game is available in more than 200 countries and 17 languages at launch after the final technical test in 28 countries from October 29-30.

Test countries included Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain and Turkey.

New State is an important launch for the series that helped boost the popularity of the Battle Royale genre after the launch of its first game in 2017.

Although, New State is not the first mobile game, after the launch of PUBG Mobile in 2018. But the first was produced by the original developer of the game, PUBG Studios.

And the original PUBG Mobile was mainly developed by the Chinese technology giant Tencent.

The company stresses that New State comes with robust anti-fraud measures at launch, and that the company is actively monitoring the community to spot problems before they become widespread.

PUBG Mobile games have had major problems with cheaters in the past, with reports earlier this year that a cheating group had generated more than $70 million from cheats in the game.

However, it is not the only game that has encountered these issues. Other companies like Activision and Valve recently released news about their efforts to prevent cheating on their games and devices, respectively.

The announcement came during the online presentation of PUBG: New State

Like the previous group games, New State is all about multiplayer matches. Up to 100 players enter the map, and one player or team emerges victorious.

There are four maps available at launch in the New State, including the base franchise Erangel. The company promises to update it regularly with new content over time.

Beyond mobile, Crafton plans to release another game for PC and consoles by next year, according to reported Bloomberg Agency in January.

The company announced that NEW STATE has surpassed 50 million pre-registrations across iOS and Android. Pre-registrations originally opened in February 2021 when Crafton officially revealed the game.
